Last year: Trey Canard took the lead during the seventh of 20 laps and went on to win the 450 SX main event before an announced crowd of 47,671. Ryan Dungey took second and Chad Reed was third. It was Canard's first victory since he won at Cowboys Stadium on April 2, 2011, snapping a 58-race winless streak. Andrew Short led the first three laps before Reed overtook him in the fourth lap. Reed held that position before he had a mishap, allowing Canard to get past him. Malcolm Stewart won his first 250SX Class Main Event in his 36th career 250SX Class start. He won the 15-lap main event by 1.443 seconds over Cooper Webb. Stewart took over first place near the start of the seventh lap after Justin Hill fell off his bike, and was never threatened the rest of the way.
